I’m Helen, I’ve had thirty-six trips around the sun and I currently call the Netherlands home. I’ve been an explorer and adventure-seeker for as long as I can remember. Whether I’m reading about faraway places, watching wildlife documentaries, doing my morning meditations or hiking in the mountains, my goal is always to discover more about life and about myself.

This quest has taken me to over 40 countries and has led me to read a great many books and take various courses on all kinds of subjects. In the process I gained some knowledge and experience, but it was only when I really turned inwards that I began to develop wisdom. Writing has been instrumental in my personal evolution; putting pen to paper is one of the ways I make sense of the world and of my inner landscape.

So while I remain an avid traveller – always excited to visit new places, meet new people and try new things – the most important journey I’ve been on is the one of self-discovery. It’s an ongoing journey of remembering my essence and embodying what my soul came here to be: wild and free.
